Novell and Microsoft announced they are working together to enhance the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Cross Platform Extensions to deliver “Linux and UNIX management”. In addition, Novell will be developing an advanced Linux management pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007, as well as enhancing ZENworks products to ensure SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is one of the best managed Linux distributions - period. All of this will be done using industry standards, including WS-Management.
