As the spam in Slax forum increased rapidly, I’ve modified bayesian filtering to reject all posts with spam probability bigger than 10%. But since that rejected several valid posts already, and because 100% of the spam is made by robots, I’ve added a captcha verification to all spams, so that a human being can still send whatever (s)he likes, after retyping the image, even if the post is refused by the filter.
This solution seems to FINALLY fix the problem with spam in the forum, while avoiding the need for users to retype captcha for every post.
By the way, I’ll push out 6.0.3 release of Slax soon, along with a finished
modules page. Moreover, the plan is to finish “Build Slax” section before LinuxExpo, which starts on 15th of April.
