Open Source web filtering used by 200,000 Yorkshire school children

The Yorkshire and Humberside Grid for Learning (YHGfL) confirmed today that a new web filtering array based on Open Source software will be used by over 200,000 school children in the Yorkshire region. Built by leading European Open Source services group Sirius Corporation, the new system will be deployed across 700 schools to block access to inappropriate content on the Internet.
