Google and Apple battle for developers
Developers are the ones that have the ability to make or kill an Operating System, without them an Operating System is all but useless unless you want to just sit there looking at the screen. It comes at no surprise why Google And Apple are throwing millions of dollars at developers to make innovative applications for both of their mobile offerings (Android and iPhone)
If it so happens that you have been living under a rock all these months, then you may not know that Google is offering $10 Million in their Android Developer Challenge to successful developers who create compelling and innovative applications for android, while Apple has took the high road by offering $100 Million to developers. The competiton between these two heavyweights will surely get heated in the coming months when the first Android Phone hits the market.
