The gang over at Vignette has been doing some celebrating this week picking up two different industry awards for two of their products proving they may actually know a little something about saving an organization a lot of money and delivering outstanding web experiences in this Web 2.0 world.

Do you know where you should be on May 29? Why in San Diego of course. Attending the Enterprise 3 conference and learning lots of stuff about portals, collaboration and Web 2.0. Come on now, embrace the enterprise and take a walk along the yellow brick road.

It's always seemed to me one of the biggest problems for free software that it's not well known in schools. As Microsoft understands - and as Apple first learned - if you get them young, you've pretty much got them forever. So it's good to see efforts being made to spread the open source word in the educational world, like this new effort by the Portuguese Ministry of Eduction:
