[How-To] Shrink Excel Text

Tim Roth has written me a mail asking for a step by step process to Shrink Excel Text. Tim in his mail writes I use MS Excel 2003 with text in the cells, and the General format applied. When I change the format of a portion of the text, that part of the text’s font size is reduced. I can manually fix the font size, but I use Excel a lot and this is quite troublesome. Therefore, for the information of Tim and all other readers of my blog, i am putting below a solution for this issue. Please follow the steps mentioned below. 1. Press CTRL+A to select all. 2. Right-click anywhere in the selection and select Format Cells. 3. In the Alignment tab, uncheck the box Shrink to fit and click OK. 4. If all the text is supposed to be the same size, click the Font tab and set the desired size. 5. Click OK to finish. Hope this helps. Also read:
