That is Mint’s slogan and in my opinion it suits them well. Mint was my very first experience with Linux. I installed it from a DVD found in Linux Format Magazine. I was so enthralled with Linux that I started searching for other distros - maybe something even better.

Bye Bye Windows

Well I finally made the decision at home to switch from Windows XP on my main machine. As stated on a previous post I had reinstalled my PC with XP in August last year following a trojan.

About 2 months ago, I convinced my girlfriend to try out Linux for a month after a really nasty bit of spyware infected her computer. This isn’t a bash on Microsoft, but it happened twice in about a month.

It's The Little Things Really...

Clem and crew have done nothing less than a magnificent job in creating a superb Linux Distro. But now they've went and done it...they can't be happy with remaking one distro into something better...they have to set their sights on another distro. Here's what's rubbing many against the grain. It's Fedora Core. They are going to make a "Mint Flavor" Fedora.
