Firebird 2.0.5 Release Candidate is Ready to Test

The Firebird Team is pleased to offer the Linux, Win32 and MacOSX release candidate kits for Firebird 2.0.5. Please refer to the Bug Fixes chapter of the release notes, test it well and report your experiences (good or bad) to the firebird-devel list.

Recommended update - Firebird 2.1.1

The recent release of Firebird version 2.1.1 is very welcome. Testing needed for 2.0.4 and 2.1.0 packages for debian

As you may have noticed, debian experimental got firebird2.0 (2.0.4) and firebird2.1 (2.1.0). I would really appreciate if you give these some testing. 2.0.4 is more urgent as this is what I very much want to release with Lenny. 2.1.0 is possible for Lenny too, especially if 2.1.1 comes out soon. Firebird ports for Intanium and hppa to be released soon

If you watch the debian building logs for different architectures then there are a few ones left to be done , Itanium , Hppa and Alpha (dead one) http://buildd.debian.org/build.cgi?pkg=firebird2.0 and seem that this will be solved very soon image image image image
