I’ve recently started learning Django for doing web development, so as part of that, I needed to also learn how to set up Django within mod_python so I could deploy my new Django applications on my server.

I have a decent desktop accounting type application written in Delphi against a Firebird database that should have a piece exposed on the web. Maybe, in time, there should even be a web based version of the entire program on the web.
FireDjango is a set of extensions for Django ORM. At this time the only supported RDBMS backend is Firebird version >= 1.5. Other databases that have the same enterprise features may be supported in the future
