Day Software's New CQ5 Web CMS Has Arrived

Our hearts are thumping and adrenalin levels are high as we tell you about the just-released Day's CQ5 WCM. To get as close as possible to a real-life experience, we went ahead and installed the software from scratch and played with it for a couple of days. It was a fun ride. Without further due, let’s jump in and see what Day came up with after three years of WCM silence.

Interim Results Show Day is Having a Good Year

Mere days before the long-anticipated CQ5 release, Day presents interim financial results for Q3 2008. The very Web 2.0-esque CQ5 is currently scheduled to be generally available on November 17. The company reports increased revenue and presses ahead with market expansion, mainly in Northern Europe.

Day Speaks on 2009 Plans, Open Source, CQ5 and More

Mix two tablespoons of Day with several pounds of a new chief marketing officer, who has arrived from Interwoven via the open source devout Alfresco. And, voila! The open source awards will follow. Day's recently-onboarded CMO Kevin Cochrane tells us all the glorious details about this award and (much) more -- including, why he left Interwoven and Alfresco.

Day Earns 'Visionary' Accolade for Enterprise CMS Offering

A strong first half financially for 2008, several new appointments to the executive and now a nod from Gartner in their 2008 Enterprise Content Management Magic Quadrant Report. Is 2008 the year of the Day?
