Google and Android rises to the occasion

With the 700MHz Spectrum Auction now over and done, winners unveiled, and the sign of openness slowly becoming a norm, Google Android is on it's way on becoming the leading Mobile Linux OS. (well so I hope)

Google not winning a Spectrum at the Auction can only do more good than harm since Google does not have the technical know how on building a network, so all you die hard fanboys no need to get into a life threatening fit. By losing, Google has ensured that Android Phones will not be restricted because of it's open nature and their Mobile Applications can be downloaded without stupid restrictions by networks who only want customers to download and buy what they offer alone (Verizon the main culprit, CRUCIFY THE.....OK I don't want cause an uprising)

Linux is not immune to Virus&Spyware

Anti-virus software is dead - use Linux. That was the topic of a blog i read earlier, frankly i read nothing but a bunch of comments because the author was just advertising Ubuntu Linux. This is not the right way to get new users to try Ubuntu Linux or Linux in general, because whenever Linux grows on the desktop and allot more people are using it, thats when people will see a host of Viruses and Spywares attacking the platform. People must stop saying Linux is more secure than the competition because it's not, it's only because there are not many people using Linux compared to Windows to justify a reason for Hackers to target Linux.
